Do I have to use Auto-Nav?

I've got an already existing working navigation driven by jQuery. Should I switch to Auto-Nav? All my internal pagelinks and therefor my navigation does not work when I am in C5-editing mode. How could I solve that ?

I believe you shouldn't be able to navigate unless you are out of edit mode.

If you need to navigate while in edit mode, I'm not sure how best that would be accomplished.

Is the issue that you would like to edit divs that are not visible until you edit a link? The logic used for this may not apply perfectly for C5, you may have to rethink how the structure of your divs are laid out, and also put some logic into the displaying of the div (you should be able to search the forums for a statement that reflects: if in edit mode - display this div, otherwise don't)
