Does Google Analytics track the logged in pages?

Permalink 1 user found helpful
Had a client saying that in her google analytics she has numerous visits to pages like this index.php?cID=66
Am I right in thinking that these are generated when you are logged in and editing a page? If so is there anyway to stop google from tracking them.

Also she is moaning that the home page shows up as / I don't personally think thats a problem but can this be changed to show as index.php?

Thanks

It's odd that they prefer the unnecessary junk in the URL. Perhaps they'd prefer pretty URLs be disabled altogether? That would show all kinds of ugly SEO-unfriendly junk in the URLs.

well, for the index.php, Google won't like that, cause in order for that to happen you need to do a header redirect, and google doesn't like those, especially on homepages.
