Dropdown <div> showing up behind image slideshow

Hey all, I have tried setting the z-index of the dropdown higher than the block containing the image slideshow to no avail. This is only happening in IE7.

alright, just as an FYI, this really had nothing to do with the concrete slideshow... setting the <li> in the dropdowns to position:relative and setting a higher z-index did the trick. Just in case this may help someone else out. Happy coding
