Feature Request: Edit in Composer button for site toolbar

Permalink 2 users found helpful
I'd love to see an Edit in Composer button in the site toolbar alongside the Edit Page button (on appropriate pages only, of course). It's great to have that feature in Dashboard > Site Map and would be handy on the front-end too.

I agree, its surprising to me that this isn't already a feature.

It's doable from the sitemap, we just try to keep buttons at a minimum in the editing UI, so we haven't figured out a way to gracefully add it to incontext bar. Its likely we will be revisiting composer a bit in the next version

Best wishes,

That would be great. Editors get a little confused when some content need to be edited by entering edit mode and then editing on the block while other content need to be edited on the Edit - Properties - Custom Attributes part.

Check the latest comment I've posted here, you're not the only one who wants to do that:http://www.codeblog.ch/2012/04/concrete5-custom-toolbar-button/...

It's not the same, but I think the composer is more useful with this add-on:https://github.com/Remo/concrete5-composer-list...

I might add such a button to my add-on someday..
