Error with Workflow

Hi All
I am just having a play around with a new install of 5.7.5.7.
When I go to the Workflow tab I get an error as follows:
Call to undefined method Concrete\Core\Workflow\Progress\Progress::`mtg'nn@x * udo~n1sz[^5()
This is a brand new and untouched install, and I was wondering if this is a bug or a problem with the new version. I am not building a site with this install just testing on it.
Anyone have any ideas?

This discussion points to this error being caused by PHP 5.3.

A general recommendation is to use the most current and supported version of PHP. Both PHP 5.3 and 5.4 are end of life and are not receiving security fixes. Using a newer version of PHP offers improvements in performance and security.
