Excluding Power User

I know this may sound weird but am trying to exclude the Power User from showing in any search results list(mostly the Dashboard -> user -> Search area) including the count unless its the power user logged in.
Have a client that is requesting this and although I should know this, can't seem to find what file to best copy to root folders and modify.
Any ideas?
