Explanation and location of css file

I am having the worst time trying to decode web building terms! I need to take the "website by" off of the bottom of my website but I don't even know where to find the css (I think) to edit it. I have a custom theme that a web builder put together.

Forget the css file, you need to edit the footer.php file inside your theme/elements folder and remove it from there,
If you don't know how..
send me the file (PM me) and I will edit it for you..
