Express search PHP error

Cant get search to work in expression list block. Any search triggers PHP error "call_user_func_array() expects parameter 2 to be array, null given"
Im on ver 8.0.3 and PHP 5.5 (old add-on breaks on 5.6, working on replacing)

It also appears that I cannot change the search settings at all.
no errors but there is no change in the settings.

I have this issue also. Search returns the same PHP error and editing the block to disable search doesn't work either.
I noticed when inspecting the C5 database that the Express List Block may have created a table in the database name after the page it was placed on.
Very very odd and I can't recreate the issue on a fresh database.
I also noticed following the first post on this thread that I was running PHP 5.5 and v8 requires 5.6. I've upgraded PHP but no difference.
I imagine these issues might be getting picked up on 8.1. I'm hoping they are!

Rebuilt site on fresh copy of 8.1 with php 7 and no issues.
I haven't got an answer for this, but I did experience this on a clean install of v8.1.0, so I've created an issue here:https://github.com/concrete5/concrete5/issues/5535...

Can we get a Ver 8 forum? maybe an express one too?
