Extend Shopping Cart
Permalink
Hi, first I'd like to say that I'm having a great time at Concrete5. It's as if someone crawled into my brain to find out how a CMS should work. :o) So my suggestion here is not one to complain, but in how it can be even better so I can spend more time here...
*Shopping cart times out too fast*
Many times over the past week, I have fallen asleep in the middle of browsing and the cart is empty upon waking. Or I get up to take the dogs out, get distracted by eating or such, and come back and the cart is empty. I've taken to opening up the cart in a new page and leaving it open and checking a second C5 page to see if the cart was emptied and then just filling it back up by individual search. But the ideal would have a shopping cart that lasts longer than the fraction of a day that it does.
Or how about a Wish List? This is what I'd actually love to have. Then developers/designers who have items in the marketplace can see if their products are in Wish Lists out there as a matter of interest for them, giving them the opportunity to see if they can update their product page to see if that pushes Wish List sales.
Again, thanks!
