Im finding the new v8 file manager image icon previews very small at 30px square.
Is there any way to enlarge them please?
Older version icons were bigger.

Lots of people agree with you ;) There is currently a PR open that would allow for bigger thumbnails in the File Manager. It hasn't been merged yet. See https://github.com/concrete5/concrete5/pull/6593...

Reading your link I can see its still a work in progress so hopefully will be in a future update.

I had a problem with updating my site to v8 and my hosts backup was corrupted so i'm stuck with this problem...
