Files hierarchy, Images & Thumbnails
Permalink
I'm new to C5. At last, a simple to use CMS, that's better than my old favourite Mindtouch Dekiwiki.
There is one thing I miss from Mindtouch, which I think would benefit C5.
Pages in Mindtouch have a hierarchy, just like C5. When you add a file or image to Mindtouch, you attach it to a page, not to a global list of files. So your files, follow the same hierarchy, as your pages. You can still share files between pages, and select them globally should you wish. When you delete a page branch, the images go with them.
The problem I have, is I like to put lots of thumbnails in my blog posts, which the user can click on to view in a lightbox. The only way I can see how to do this (correct me if I am wrong) is manually create thumbnails, and upload them to C5 with the main images. Then link them to the main image somehow.
