First day of SXSW

Wow.
I write you, sadly, from the comfort of my bed on a saturday night at 8:45. Fear not, Andy and Ryan are out hitting the town in dropping the good name of concrete5, but I think the energy finally caught up with me about 5:15 today when after nothing but a muffin and a Clif bar to eat all day my voice started to get scratchy and go out.
Happily people seem to be really impressed with concrete5. The only other CMS's I've found are Ektron (old dotNet commercial) and a couple sexy but closed source hosted guys like LightCMS. When we get people engaged in the booth, their eyes really light up and they seem to understand and get excited.
After a couple of hiccups (oh we should have a sign explaining its a CMS) our booth seems to be pretty well setup and we've figured out a good groove to get passer-bys engaged. "Hey, you want a sticker?" Informally we've found that only 1 in 30 people DON'T want a sticker, and they typically don't look like fun people anyway, so blah! I've got to tweak our video reel a bit (its way to long) but beyond that we seem to have good routine going. Tomorrow, we really need to make time to eat.
There's pictures we're posting on flickr:

I'm pretty brain dead after the push with 5.4, the new marketplace connection, and now setting up SXSW so I'm gonna take care of some operations tasks and veg out before the battle begins anew tomorrow.
Thanks all - this is working!
