Footer issues in Boldly

I'm using the concrete5 boldly theme and am having an endless amount of footer issues. The footer seems to want to float with the content. I have tried sticky footers, absolute positioning, relative positioning and fixed positioning. The only thing that seems to work is fixed positioning but I would really prefer to not have my content flow behind my footer. CAN ANYONE HELP ME FIX THIS PLEASE?!?!?!
