Can someone tell me how to simply define the width of input textfield to a different size? thanks.

Hi,

Find the function (function loadInputType($questionData,$showEdit)) in concrete/blocks/form/controller.php in line 660. In that function find the case 'field': and there will be the text field, there you can edit it as you want.
