Forum Confusing. Use the Discussion forum add on please

I try to search a word at the forum, say it I search for "forum"
and the search result is make me confusing,
old posting are on top,on the middle is newer post, and then older posting, and newer again.

what is the search result order base on ?

and why not using the discussion forum add on ?

by doing that more user can try and give suggestions to the discussion forum add on. and it will make better products

The default search results order is by "Relevance". Look to the right of the search results and you'll see options for sorting by date, etc.

OK thanks.

I think better to set the default by newest posting

and regarding the PM:
1. The PM subject is not there
2. When reply a PM, better to keep the old message. instead of Blank ones

Just my 2c
