Getting Blog to display Month name instead of number

Hi Guys, I recently put a site live for a client -http://www.smallspaces.ie & in the blog section, the only thing he doesn't like is that it displays 4 instead of April, 5 instead of may in the header area of the page.

Is there a way to change this or is it a case of him going into sitemap & renaming them each month?
