Google downranking sites w/o mobile?

Hey C5 community!
I'm just curious if anyone else has seen this and what they think on it?

Apparently Google is gonna start down ranking sites that don't have a mobile version?
Just wondering how other people are tackling mobile versions. Do you actually use the mobile theme switcher in C5? I'm starting to create responsive themes, but sometimes it's hard finding a responsive plugin.
Just starting a conversation. :)

Hey jshannon!
I didn't mean to be misleading and you're right. It didn't officially say anything about requiring a mobile version. I was just worried that that's what it WAS saying.
I was mainly hoping that it was talking about having no flash, but then again, there was that comic that made it seem more like you had to have a mobile version.
Sorry if I came out misleading. Thanks for your tips of the trade! :)

That's not to say that mobile-specific media queries or a mobile site isn't already in the algorithm, or won't be soon, but the announcement doesn't deal with that. It's mostly referring to:
* Generic redirects (site.com/some/article -> m.site.com)
* Redirects to 404's (not sure I've seen this)
* Flash-only videos
