Google Maps addon javascript error in ie7

Hi all
I'm getting a javascript error in ie7 when I add a Google Map. The error usefully states that an object is expected. I presume it's something to do with the javascript that the addon inserts just after the google maps js file is included.
Anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it? If i can give any further info let me know.
