I have entered the Google tracking code into the tracking code in sitewide settings. it is producing no stats what so ever. This is a site that had 150 visits per day before c5 conversion, so I know there is traffic.

check a page in your site, if that google code isnt in there then the theme you're using isn't inserting it. We have the field in the dashboard, but if you've got a custom theme that isn't looking for it, it wont show up.
the code does not show up in the page source. how do i correct the sitewide settings to insert on my custom theme or do i need to put it at the bottom of my footer.php as a work around.
well if you're using your own theme, you'd have to add a line that pulls that info from concrete5. It should be in plain yogurts footer.php file if you want an example. the other option is just add it to your template files in the theme.
