Having a sitemap problem in the dashboard

I am having a problem with the dashboards sitemap.
It show up, but none of the functions are working. None of the dropdowns work, I can't use any of the functions.
The site is hosted on Concrete5 servers - and I haven't had any issues like this on any of the other sites. No upgrades have been made. I have tried it out on several different browsers to no avail.
Has anyone else seen this? Or perhaps know a potential fix?

Try changing to a standard theme and see if the problem persists..
Yes, the problem persists - even using the default theme.
If you are signing in as administrator check you have permission to Access Sitemap and Page Search in Site Permissions
Yes, it appears to be set up correctly.
Interestingly none of the buttons or roll overs on the sitemap page work - not the options dropdown or the icon letting me see the other sitemap pages, and favorite star.

I also have cleared the cache.
