hCalendar for Concrete5
Permalink
Hey people :)
I am thinking about a way of how to easily integrate hCalendar microformat into a C5 page.
Just to explain: the hCalendar microformat is just like hCard (vCard) and others a format which can be recognized by a search engine as an i.e. event.
So when having a event-site with hCalendar dates in it, this may seem more important to google if the hCalendar date is close to the actual date. This may be useful.
What can be done easily is to use a hCalendar (http://microformats.org/code/hcalendar/creator) and paste it into the site.
I thought about maybe creating a addon which integrates the hCalendar attributes into the header, so the user (aka client) does not need to use an external generator.
I am no PHP-or-any-programming-language-Genius, so I cannot do that. But maybe someone cares about something like that?
:-)

Something that integrates a interface the like of the hCalendar Creator (http://microformats.org/code/hcalendar/creator) with maybe a checkbox to make the div invisible (style="display:none;") to be integrated into the page properties.
Scope: that noob users (like me and some clients) can easily integrate hCalendar data into their site to catch the advantages of SEO and usability.
There's some more info about it:

From my deep level of not knowing about how to do this, I hope this can be done easily :)
