Hi all,

Can anyone help me? I'm trying to find the root install folder so I can amend it and include external forms.

Also, how can I find out what versin of Concrete5 I have. I have been installing Add Ons and some are incompatible with my version.

Thanks

Barry

Regarding your root folder: If I understand the question correctly, you should be able to find your root folder at: public_html/sitename/

Regarding finding your Concrete5 version: There are a couple ways I can think of off the top of my head. Go to dashboard -> System & Settings -> Environment Information, the second line should tell you your C5 version; you can also go to dashboard -> System & Settings -> Update Concrete5, and it should tell you which version you are currently running.

Thanks. Found the version but still stuck on root folder.

Is the root folder found on the pc that concrete5 was installed on or is it somewhere online?

Are you using C5 locally, or do you actually have it on an online website?

If it's local, then the root folder should be wherever you installed it to.

If it's online, you will have to find your FTP info from your host, then you will have to use an FTP program, and navigate to the directory I said above (public_html/sitename/).

Hope this helps!
