How do I disable any future messages?

Sorry, if this is in the wrong forum.
I do not want to receive future messages. I followed the link provided in the email, but it simply takes me to the main profile page, and I cannot find a correct link there to simply disable future messages.
A simple unsubscribe link would be handy, and seem to be the norm in many other systems.

Under "Profile and Account", go to Edit Account, Passwords and preferences.
Under preferences, you can disable messaging.
