I made a custom theme, logged out, now I've lost the fields

Hi all.
Firstly I'd like to say how glad I am that I found C5. It's like meeting the girl of my dreams and we're about to have a wonderful life together. Something like that anyway.
Not all new relationships go with out a hitch though. I just made a custom theme and i've been having a merry ol' time customising a new layout but then I logged out and I can't work out how to find the fields to allow me to log back in again!
I'm using a local version and found the login.php but I get an error if I run that through wamp.
I also checked the DB for any signs but it's a bit complicated for me and I ended up making coffee and reminiscing about simpler times instead.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
