Guys,

My last customer didnt tell me his firm uses IE6 (dont ask). His screen displays as per the screenshot.

Is there an IE6 CSS fix for this kind of thing please?

The dashboard is never going to work correctly in ie6. Is there anyway they can be convinced to use a different browser?? (Although I notice it's NHS, so probably not!)

We had a similar experience with Portsmouth City Council and after showing them some of the major security issues with IE6 and that most of the web services they intended to use in the future (Google) would also not be supported on IE6 they decided to upgraded.

I think the NHS might be a different Animal

I think this might be beyond them! Is there not a CSS patch anybody knows of, or is C5 too advacned for IE6 whatever we do. This is what I have used in the past for IE6 nonsense.

The problems run far too deep for a simple CSS patch I'm afraid. You will need to work with your client to get them away from ie6. The Chrome window for ie6 really isn't difficult to use and would solve all their problems. Alternatively, they will need to either upgrade or use a different browser. A lot of the dashboard functionality just wont work otherwise.

I had a feeling you were going to say that!
I guess they'll have to update at home as they do now until the NHS wakes up to the C21.

Thank you all for your help. Close
