Image viewing

Okay, so I am new to this and purchased the Slate Theme. Every time i want to upload an image, all my images are displayed as the "Unknown File" white sheet. It's driving me nuts. Am I missing something? Do the images have to be a certain size. I have checked all my file extensions and they include the files I upload

Are you image extensions in the Dashboard>systems&settings>PERMISSIONS & ACCESS>Allowed File Types ?

flv, jpg, gif, jpeg, ico, docx, xla, png, psd, swf, doc, txt, xls, xlsx, csv, pdf, tiff, rtf, m4a, mov, wmv, mpeg, mpg, wav, 3gp, avi, m4v, mp4, mp3, qt, ppt, pptx, kml, xml
