Ipad and pdf
Permalink
I am turning 60 tomorrow so I'm hoping someone will make my day a little brighter.
I am away from my office for a few weeks and trying to edit a client's site. I just want to upload a pdf, which on my computer is not a problem; however, on my ipad I'm only given the option to "choose" existing image or create a new image. As I haven't figured out how to add a pdf to my camera roll, (which I'm not sure is even possible), does anyone have any thoughts as to how to upload a pdf.
I am the one and only administrator and I did check systems and settings to see that PDFs are allowed...but apparently not from my lpad. I have a hunch I just need to switch something on or off or put the file somewhere specific, but what or where?
Help!

So I think you need a third-party app to uploads pdfs. The one that I've seen mentioned a few times is iUploader:
http://www.recessionapps.com/iUploader/iUploader.html...
Basically this installs it's own browser that you'd use to do the uploads with. You can save PDF email attachments to the app to make them available for upload. I've not used this app, but it makes sense to me.
Oh, and happy birthday!
