Is it safe to update to Concrete5.6.2.1???

Tried to update my websitewww.www.fremingtoncommunity.com.... to the latest version of Concrete 5 from version 5.6.1.2 to 5.6.2.1 (after doing a db and server back-up) and got the following warning when I updated:

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /homepages/10/d418847513/htdocs/fremingtonc5/updates/concrete5.6.1.2_updater/concrete/libraries/archive.php:66) in /homepages/10/d418847513/htdocs/fremingtonc5/updates/concrete5.6.1.2_updater/concrete/core/libraries/view.php on line 917

The directory /kunden/homepages/10/d418847513/htdocs/fremingtonc5/updates/concrete5.6.2.1_updater already exists. Perhaps this item has already been installed.

The site updater is telling me I need to update, but for some unknown reason it's not doing it!

Any ideas anyone please?

That 'header information' message is a secondary error. Behind the scenes, something has failed and spat out an error message. Then the updater tries to render a nice update page, but can't because headers have already been sent with the previous error message.

If you look in the browser developer console, you can probably see the real error message from the elements or network tabs.

As to 5.6.2.1 update, I have not had any problems updating sites successfully from previous 5.6.x versions.

Tbh, I don't really know what to look for there.

Have just tried to update again and got the following warnings:

Warning: ZipArchive::extractTo(/kunden/homepages/10/d418847513/htdocs/fremingtonc5/files/tmp/1399024465//concrete5.6.2.1_updater/concrete/elements/files/search_results.php): failed to open stream: Disk quota exceeded in /homepages/10/d418847513/htdocs/fremingtonc5/updates/concrete5.6.1.2_updater/concrete/libraries/archive.php on line 66

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated please? Thanks.

Could 1&1 be telling you the account's disk space is all used up?

With that cleared up, I would go for a manual upgrade. Unzip the upgarde zip in /updates/concrete5.6.2.1_updater, overwriting any existing files in the directory, then look through the install.md file within that for a URL to visit to run the upgrade.
