Is C5 right for me?
Hi Guys,
C5 looks like a great front end solution for an upcoming project we're working on. I've got a few quick questions that I'd appreciate some help with.
1. Are there any design constraints? I.e can I put a creative frontend job out to crowd sourcing networks, choose a design and have it sliced to XHTML/CSS without any C5 integration fear?
2. Can we build modal overlay's - this may be available as standard add on?
3. Can all 3rd party code be added to the pages - i.e. analytics code (not google analytics), affiliate tracking links or any other marketing related 3rd party code?
3. Will the user authentication and reg forms integrate with a Django backend? The ops dashboard will be built and run in Django.
4. Can C5 handle rich media with ease? The user help centre and tour pages will predominately consist of tutorial videos. A Feedback community will also be managed via User Voice.
5. Are there any license constraints? At all?
Cheers

2) we use the jquery library in concrete5, if you've got PHP/JS developers you can use it too
3) yes, there's several ways to do this including a big fat insert your google analytics code int he dashboard
3mark2) dunno, i've never done that but we do have openID integration so with a little work you can abstract the authentication scheme if you want to.
4) well its not going to auto-magically convert video for you like you tube, but it can easily link to youtube or vimeo videos.
5) its MIT license. pretty common, basically says don't sue us.
cheers indeed.
