Karma?
Just curious about a few things regarding the Karma points. I know they don't say much about a person and such but that's not the point.
I'm just curious on Karma on the new Concrete5 site, I know we still get points for answers and showcase submissions but what about the points that used to be given out when you added a how-to (which got approved) to the site or when someone marks your how-to as useful? Are those no longer valid items for Karma points or is there a bug which causes these not to be given out?
Ofcourse I like many of you write those to be helpful but the Karma always was a nice touch to all things on the Concrete5 site.

Sounds great. I guess you'll also modify it to work backwards to the time of the redesign or am I mistaken on that?
As far as I know, it's still working and collecting Karma, there's just no page for it. You can check your total in your public profile, and should see changes reflected there. (Try this by clicking "Like" on a Showcase item, then check your public profile.)
True, it works for the auto granting ones like answers and likings but not for the how-to ones which in the past didn't get to you automaticly, they were granted differently right? I know I didn't get any for the recent how-to's I submitted.
That's a question for frz to answer, but I would imagine the manual karma points will eventually be awarded as usual, retroactive.
we will get people points for their how-to submissions and make sure this is automated in the future.
Thanks, both of you. My curiousity has been satisfied for now :)
