When you upload the site or move it from your staging location the new location it will continue to function. It could then indicate that add-ons are unlicensed, but that can be corrected by registering the site and adjusting the licence allocation under 'My Account' on concrete5.org. So you never loose or have to re-purchase for that particular site.
Hello and welcome,
You made a good choice picking C5.
Short answer - NO.
Connect your site to C5 through the dashboard and get the bits you want.
Assign those bits to /testcms, then when you want to change places release the license from /testcms and apply it to livesite.com.
Hope that helped.

No. Legally they are licensed on a per site basis, so as long as it's running in one live place actively at a time your fine. (Staging/development servers are an okay exception)
No. Technically you're probably not going to be "moving" your site at all when you launch, but rather just pointing a domain at it. This doesn't impact the site at all.
No. You can always release an add-on from one project page and assign it to another.

Thanks for info guys.
I will be moving the whole thing across to a completely new domain. but as lonjg as i can do this legally, then its fine.
I presume i add the new domain to my account here, then un-assign from old test domain, then reassign to new live domain.
Thanks again

if you copy/move the database for your site to a new location, it will simply connect to the same project page when you goto add functionality
