Haven't seen one but just if someone was about to develop one, I'd say this looks like a pretty darn good starting point for that:

That's also MIT licensed, so it's freely available for anyone to fork. It's also responsive, like the example linked in this post.

What you would need to add there is:
- Image listing possibility next to the image
- The kind of preview that you can see in the example (preview zoom that would also add color to the images)
