Making HTML template work

Permalink
I watched the video -
Developer Screencast 1: Introduction to Themes
Learn how to translate a simple HTML theme found on the web into a C5 theme, in under 8 minutes.

I could not get the code the guy used to convert the templates... Is this in writing somewhere or does someone know how to do it ???

Also what code he used to define an area... was it
<? php
$ahh = new Area ('Header');
$ahh-> display ($c);
?>
