Meta Keywords

Hi, I am new to Concrete5. I have created a web site using C5 and added the meta keywords on Home page. I am hosting the site through HostMonster. I have registered the site at google.com but it's not able to pickup any of the keyword or meta tags. Do I need to do something different.

My understanding is that these keywords are kept in the database and page is dynamically built. So, how google or other search engine will find my site.

Hi, if its a new domain google may not visit the site for up to 3 months ... i usualy get a visit after 3-4 weeks for new domains.

You can confirm the meta data by viewing the source of each page, that way you will know what google will see.

Theres a whole lot more to google than keywords so dont just rely on them!

If you use the Google webmaster tools (http://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/) you can see when Google indexes your site and loads more information.

I think you can now link it in to the Google Analytics account now as well.
