Mix-and-match audio and video: internal, external, YouTube, Vimeo
Permalink
Hi everyone,
Just wanted to spotlight a new update to the Media Library add-on. You can now mix-and-match files from a wide variety of sources. You can add files hosted in Concrete, of course, but you can now add files that are hosted externally on another server. You can even add videos that are hosted on YouTube or Vimeo. Starting with Concrete 5.4.1, you can even sort your file sets exactly as you want it, so all this together means a lot of control for hosting audio and video on your website.
The Flash Video add-on has also been update to reflect some of these improvements. You can add external files the same way, and in addition to the thumbnail generator that the block adds to the File Manager, you can now use your own custom thumbnail for videos, in case the image you need isn't present in the actual video.
Hope you guys enjoy it!
