Moving Forum Contents from 5.6 to 5.8

Hi Guys,

Does anyone have any experience in moving the content of a forum block from 5.6 to the converstaion block on 5.8?

It's only a small forum with out too much content and I could cut and paste the contents but I can't see where I would attribute the content to the original user that posted it. If I know where to find that in the database I could probably do it manually.
