We have a multi-site application built on top of version 8 that we're calling Liberta that we're rolling out for the U.S. Army now. It's very cool, and it does mean that there are various hooks being put into concrete5 open source core (v8) that it needs, like the Site object and the ability to put custom attributes against those objects.

That said, I have no idea how we'd price this and when we'd be able to bring it to the public sector yet. To be frank, there's a lot of very different needs and expectations out of folks who want this, and we've been struggling to see a clear market to serve there. If not, does version 8 have this capability? I tried it out with no luck.
