My home page images no longer show up

I'm fairly new to Concrete5. The images in the file set for our home page show up in the file sets, but they don't show on the site. I don't know if I need to add it back in, or where/how I would do that. Anyone?
Have you tried clearing the cache in the dashboard and forcing a refresh in your browser (ctrl-f5 on Windoze)?
Thanks for your post Jero. I had cleared the cache. I ended up restoring the last back-up, so that issue is fixed. But now, when I try to add a new sub-page to our portfolio section, I get errors. I finally lucked into no errors and creating the new page, and the home page images disappeared again. I'm at a loss.
