mysql error 1030 anyone?
Permalink 1 user found helpful
Hi, thanks in advance.
This is the second time that I enter into my concrete5 site, located in a subdirectory of my root, to find this threatening message:
An unexpected error occurred.
mysql error: [1030: Got error 28 from storage engine] in EXECUTE("SHOW COLUMNS FROM `btNavigation`")
It happens only in my concrete5 based pages but my regular flash index.html is working fine. The first time it happened it fixed itself fairly quickly so I dismissed it like a bad dream. Now it doesn't seem to change. I have not added any addons recently nor have I downloaded any themes, or messed with the code. Does someone have any ideas as to what I could do? Even if it goes away again, I would not feel confident in presenting it to my client!
thank you for your time.

have you altered the autonav block at all? also please share your environment ( dashboard/settings/set_developer )
thank you for replying. No, I have not modified the auto-nav block at all, my problem is that even the login page returns the error! I cannot access my concrete5 dashboard at all.
I haven't come across this, but based on the error, you might want to check the amount of space you have (both in the db itself and the /tmp area).

thank you, I believe this is the right direction and your link seems very helpful but it appears as though I will have to read a lot of tutorials before I understand it.. in the meantime I have a newb question: where do I find the /tmp area?
My page is now returning a 500 internal server error!
