Navigating this forum is ridiculous.

Wow. I cant believe how complicated it is to navigate this forum! Whoever designed this forum must of really wanted to confuse people. There are no lists to simply browse the forums or areas of the forum. The status of posts shows nothing like how many views. yea, I know, if you dont like it, then dont use it. Ok, but this is the support forum for Concrete5, the CMS i chose to use for my site. I just wish someone would come up with a link to take you to a vanilla forum. not this fancy whatever the hell it is.
Ahh frustration vented.

We used to have a traditional list of discussion areas when you came into the forums ages ago. We thought it was kinda useless. Really, what does it help you know that there's 1,124,123 posts in Chit-Chat vs 124,412,122 in Building with concrete...It's just a left over remnant of the BBSs, and that was just because it was the simplest way to build it.

What's at the forum landing page now is a list of recent posts. We used to concatenate replies that had happened recently up so you wouldn't get a lot of redundant links, but with recent changes for performance we've turned that off. You can filter the list by clicking the forum areas on the side.

If you want to get to JUST a particular forum area, roll over the category on the left and then click the >> link to the right of the forum name. I'll be the first to admit that that's pretty rough at best, so I just threw this page together for you:
