Need community help to get video series on Lynda.com
Permalink
Hello everyone. I have a request of you to help get a video tutorial series authored and listed on thehttp://www.Lynda.com website. I think it will greatly increase the C5 userbase and lend credence to the whole cause. I already submitted my request and have copied it below to serve as a basis for you to consider when making your request on their site.
If you go tohttp://www.lynda.com/aboutus/contact.aspx... and fill out their request form we might make enough fuss to get them to notice us and take action. Be sure to choose the FEEDBACK department in the first dropdown box.
Your thoughts? Feedback?

Hello, I would like to make a request for a tutorial series on the Concrete5 Open Source Content Mangement System. Please seehttp://www.concrete5.org for more information.
This CMS has an incredibly low entry point with extremely well thought out construction all based on usability. Click and edit right on the same web page you're viewing and be done with it. No Joomla or Drupal like category taxonomy or separate back end hidden administration areas. Theming is a breeze too. It is PHP/MySQL driven and costs $0, yes as in FREE BEER!
Please try out the CMS your self via the demo on their website
(http://getconcrete5.com/demo). You will see that this is an EASY and QUICK video series for you to author that would help increase your sales very quickly. It would also help build their userbase. There is virtually nothing out there to compete with this CMS for ease of use and quick turn around times. There are very few decent video tutorials on how to use it out on the web currently.
I hope this request doesn't find its way into the delete bin because it would be a great opportunity wasted. The primary owner and developer of Concrete5 is Franz Maruna and he can be reached via the community forum athttp://www.concrete5.org/profile/-/6.... I myself am just an emphatic user from the C5 community. If you Google "Concrete5 CMS" you will see how popular it is becoming. It would be a win win situation for everyone if Concrete5 CMS was listed in the tutorials section of your web site. This is a slam dunk no brainer type decision here...I know you're thinking, "sure sure, we've heard that before", but in this case, it really is the case.
Thank you for your consideration.
