New domain name, old links

Hi there.

Lets say I have a website that uses C5. That website is full of images and texts with links to other pages on that same website.

If the address of the website washttp://www.mysite.com and now it gets changed tohttp://www.newsite.com, how exactly does one change all the links so that they go to the new address instead of the old one?

Thanks.

Its all in the database and referenced via the root. So when you change names the config.php will tell the software what your new root is and direct it accordingly.

For instance: I built a site. Now I want a duplicate to try some new stuff on without messing with a live site. Duplicate the entire site folder in a new directory, duplicate the database and just change the config.php to reference your new directory structure.
