This is awesome! I love the changes. It makes the Home page much neater, and provides quick clear help to new and existing users.
Thanks!

this is just aesthetic, but maybe tone down the saturation on the new header colors. they seem far outside of the site's color palette & look a bit radio-active.

to me the videos/screencasts and demos are the best way to show what concrete does best. those are the first things I look for when checking out software, along with a features list. the screencasts and demos are a bit buried right now, so giving those more real-estate on the site would be helpful. the homepage could somehow illustrate that "what's the fuss" is some kind of video, maybe putting a faded out screen snapshot underneath or something. putting screencasts and the demo in the drop down menu would be helpful too.

could the testimonials be a slideshow?

btw, most people that aren't in IT have no idea what WYSIWYG means too:

I agree with much of what tony has said. The sub heading colours on the new pages seem a little too neon and imo dont blend well with the sites colour scheme. If you want to keep rhe colors (and surely you do otherwise you wouln't have used them in the first place) then maybe consider toning them down just a little :)

Also one of your best 'selling' points is this idea of in context editing so maybe an inline video/screencast or at least pictures to show this off. The old addage that a picture speaks a thousand words is so very true in todays digital world. This would also leave little doubt as what C5 means by in context editing.

Tony also mentioned about wysiwyg and imo the same goes for mvc as well. Ive been a programmer since the ZX81 and BBC Micro days and even I had too lookup what mvc meant. Maybe just a link to wikipedia for explanations. Maybe also again a block type diagram displaying the core's mvc structure on the dev's page.

Overall I like what you've done and it does sell C5 better but imo you could go another half step with just a few images and/or videos.

I understand why it was pulled, since people tend to spam it, I kinda miss the reference tohttp://search.twitter.com/search?q=concrete5... too. maybe you could add something like this to the homepage:

<a href="http://twitter.com/concrete5/">follow us on twitter</a> or <a href="http://search.twitter.com/search?q=concrete5">see what other people are saying</a>
