New refund policy

As of yet I don't have an easy way to message all add-on developers, so I'm just putting this post in a few spots for everyone to see..

I just updated our refund policy... same basic stuff, except you've got to start a @!%# support request before you ask me for a refund. Moreover I want the add-on developers to say "yeah you should get a refund" before I have to...
So add-on developers, you're basically getting in the business of granting refunds yourself. The tools don't exist for you to this technically do it yerself, but they likely will be before long..

Something else that would really help would be if the emails that are sent for monitoring support requests included some standard phrase so that the emails can be picked out by filtering. e.g. "Support Request: tcSlider: <user supplied title>". I have subscribed to most of the forums and so I sometimes miss support requests in the sea of email I receive daily.
Also - and this is off topic - is it really necessary for me to have to log in many times throughout the day. Can the cookie timeout be changed to something a little more reasonable?

Chad: yeah we've already chatted about this and are going to build in the ability to private message your customers on a new version update with the next rev to c5.org
Tbcrowe: that is super odd, I don't have to login many times a day, just every few days... are you clicking remember me?

Duh. If that's the problem then I feel stupid. I assumed "remember me" was just to remember my user id when I needed to re-login. I guess it determines the max age limit of the cookie? (I'm not restarting my browser, but may be loading new tabs).
yeah click that on and see if life is better. ;)
I agree this has been an issue Franz. getting a bad review or request for a refund without ever using the ticket system seems a bit unreasonable to me.
mass communication to devs and from devs is desperately needed.
I have no way currently to communicate with purchasers of my products. which sucks. I can't even build my own email list as user accounts do not show that often.
