Newbie- how do I start my first web page

Hello, sorry for such a a basic question. I am familiar with html, and all kinds of web programing languages (www.pumpfundamantals.com) but I would like to experiment with this new type of editor.
I have installed concrete5 with the 1-click installer provided by my ISP Dreamhost. All the files seems to be there. Now I need to create my fist page, how?
In your documentation you have: Editing, add page, etc. but not how to get on first base.

Login in is done by adding /index.php/login or /login to your site url. (or, depending on the template there might be a login url at the bottom of the site)
After that there is no basic you need to follow, it all depends on what you want to reach in the end.
