No response from add on support 'Designer Portfolio'

I've posted some questions on the help support for the Designer Portfolio add on and can't get any response. can anyone reach the author?
It seems to be the only image gallery/portfolio add on which facilitates long descriptions with each image..and that's what I need but I have questions.

This add-on hasn't been updated in quite a long time, have you already purchased it or are you trying to get pre-purchase support?
Initially pre-sales but have now purchased it. However it doesn't work properly, I have posted a support ticket. Also the addon page says ver. 1.4 but the downloaded change log says 1.0.
If you are looking for assistance you will need to provide more information about what is "not working". If there are errors or something like that other users might be able to help you with, if it is just not doing what you thought it should you can probably request a refund.
