Not Able to Login to C5 using IE10 When Stay Logged in Box is Not Checked

I haven't seen this on any other sites (although I don't regularly use IE10) but when trying to log into concrete5 in IE10 and not clicking the 'Stay Logged In' checkbox I just get the C5 login page again and I don't get logged in. Only when clicking the stay logged in box am I able to login. After that however I will see some permission issues on the site in certain circumstances. Advanced Permissions are installed on the site. This issue does not happen in IE9 or any other browser. It is very strange. Anyone else seen this or have any other ideas

It has got to be a problem with IE10. Most likely not with C5. I would try using a different browser.

Problem is that this website is using the C5 login for clients so it needs to be compatible with C5. All other browsers other than IE10 work fine so it is a strange thing.

You are probably using BASE_URL for www or non-www. Basically, if you go with IE to the wrong one, it creates a session, gets redirected, creates another one. And then uses BOTH of them and screws up.

Thanks for the reply. I had thought of that and tried with and without a base_url but with the same result.

I'm having the same problem. This used to be an issue due to a bug in an earlier version of C5 (and an earlier version of IE) and now it's back! Any other updates on this?
