Hey there,
I'm relatively new to concrete5 and I love it.
Anyway I have a problem with the searchblock. A search on my site returns results that I can't see anywhere on my pages.
In particular the text found is some "new to concrete5" text.
A search for the term "concrete5" returns:
"Sidebar Everything about concrete5 is completely customizable through the CMS..... Welcome to concrete5 ....Source CMS Content Management is easy with concrete5"
The page linked to this searchresult is my root page, but it does not contain the quoted text. I set the searchblock to search on all pages.
I already ran the index search engine job and cleared the cache several times without getting rid of these "phantom" results. I also cleared the pagesearchindex table in the database manually.
I hope you can help me with this one.
Thanks in advance
kroko

did you install the sample content or not? This is the dummy text for a sample content install of c5, so that could be where you're getting it.
Yes, I did install the sample content, but after the installation I applied my own theme to the page and changed the content.
did you edit the content or delete it? also, whats your site, id like to take a look at it to see for myself.
Ok I found the error.
Blame on me I didn't delete the sample content home page, but just applied a new theme to it. I totally forgot about this.
Thanks 12345j for pointing me to this.

I'm also having this problem but can't find where to delete the sample content. Could you help me out on where you went to do this, whether in the dashboard or just accessing the files via ftp? Thanks!
