Page list omits unapproved pages

I have a site running with some page lists on it. The problem occurs when a page is edited but the version isn't approved yet, the page then doesn't show up in the page list. Is this a bug or setting somewhere (or a caching issue)? My clients need to be able to make edits without the need to immediately publish them without losing the links in page lists. Shouldn't it just show up as there are currently approved older versions of the page.

Any help would be great.

Having the same issue -http://www.concrete5.org/community/forums/usage/pages-with-pending-... - I thought I posted a message on the bug tracker a while back, but I don't see it any longer.

hmm its possible that if no approved version of the page has been made yet that it wont show up in a page list - i can actually see that as more of a behavior than a bug, but i'm not sure if it is really the case or not.

there's also a setting in the page list that determines if it should show all page links regardless of a permissions check first, or if it should only show pages the current user has access to - that's worth playing with.

also the last line in your post confuses me... "currently older versions of the page.." you're saying a page has been made, it has an approved version, and as soon as a new version is made it no longer is listed in the page list? That would certainly be a bug but i don't think its the case.

Franz, remember when i left the moving a site page in editmode, it had previous versions, but since it was in editmode it wouldn't display

This is a bug. It is fixed in SVN and will be released in 5.4.1.
