Picnic - What's happening when it closed on 19th April?

Can the 'edit' image button be removed when this happens as it seems pointless?
Excellent Franz. Was just a small issue to be honest.
Picnic is probably a bit overkill anyway. A simpler resize/scale/crop solution would most likely improve Concretes ease of usability.
Congratulation on such a good and effective Open Source CMS. I must admit I'd almost given up on trying to locate a CMS (paid for or Open Source) that fitted in with my workflow.
I've just revisited Concrete5.5 after experimenting with numerous others and it's really impressive. I love the in-context editing which is sadly lacking in almost every other CMS I've tried. It just feels right, especially where a client who is looking for simplicity of editing and intuitive editing is involved.
I'll certainly be endorsing it's use from now on.

C5 core team is currently working on a 5.5.2 release scheduled for April, which I believe will resolve this (among other things).
basic image cropping, rotation and scaling into concrete5 for the next
release, which is due out right around then.
Unfortunately no, as its not a SaaS product we can't really do
anything about the edit buttons that are out there in the wild.
best wishes
